Asian Style BBQ Sauce

We all love a good lip smacking barbecue sauce, you know the ones that you can put on everything. Have you ever tried making a homemade barbecue sauce? Let me suggest that you make this delicious Asian style sauce, with a few ingredients that you more than likely have on hand and it’s featuring Dale’s Seasonings. This sauce is the perfect addition to your summer cookouts and as an all purpose dipping sauce. Enjoy…..and don’t forget to tag me on social media if you make this yummy sauce!


  • 2 cups of ketchup
  • 1/2 cup Dale’s Seasonings
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 Tbsp minced fresh garlic
  • 2 ounces light brown sugar
  • 2 ounces granulated sugar
  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced
  • 2 garlic close, minced
  • 1/2 ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground mustard
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring the sauce to a boil, reduce heat and simmer. Cook the sauce uncovered, stirring frequently for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Taste after simmering, adjust seasonings if necessary.
